Product Review:
Lovely recording on the Arhoolie label.

Early Recordings Vol. 2 compiles Lightnin' Hopkins' 1940s sessions for Bill Quinn's Gold Star label in Houston -- the recordings that established his reputation as a Texas blues guitarist. Reissued on Arhoolie, remastered by label founder Chris Strachwitz. Includes alternate takes of "Grosebeck Blues" and early singles "Short Haired Woman" and "Tom Moore Blues."

What's in the box?

  • Your tunes

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
