Lovely recording on the Arhoolie label. Writing on label.

Lightnin' Hopkins recorded these ten tracks in Houston in December 1967, captured by Arhoolie founder Chris Strachwitz on portable equipment. Released on Berkeley's Arhoolie label (F 1034), this pressing is identifiable by the absence of "by" before "Tradition Music" on the label credits. Straight acoustic blues -- Hopkins on guitar, unadorned.
