Linval Thompson's self-produced 12" on the UK Time Records label pairs "Ready For Dem" with "Left With A Broken Heart." Thompson was a key figure in late 1970s and early 1980s roots reggae, recording extensively for Bunny Lee and Joe Gibbs before moving into production. Time Records catalogue number TR0014 places this in the early 1980s UK reggae independent scene.
