Swedish Karusell EP from 1954, capturing vibraphonist Lionel Hampton in small-group setting with his quartet. The two-track 45 features "'S Wonderful" -- the Gershwin standard -- and Irving Berlin's "Always." Hampton had been leading big bands through the late 40s and early 50s, making this stripped-back quartet format a contrast to his larger touring ensembles of that period.
