Eurreal "Little Brother" Montgomery recorded this solo piano set for Folkways in 1961, capturing the New Orleans and Mississippi blues styles he had been playing since the 1920s. Produced with notes by jazz historian Rudi Blesh, the album spans barrelhouse, boogie, and slow blues across 14 tracks. "Vicksburg 44" and "Crescent City Blues" are among the standouts on an original US Folkways pressing.
