From a beautifully preserved collection. Writing on sleeve. Slight age discolouration to the rear sleeve. A majority of records in this collection are in EX to NM condition. We have graded them conservatively here.

Lloyd Glenn was a Los Angeles-based pianist and arranger whose work underpinned countless West Coast R&B sessions in the late 1940s and 1950s. This EP on Hollywood Records captures him leading his own group, with "Chica-Boo" becoming a regional boogie blues hit that influenced the developing California R&B sound. Four tracks of piano-driven jump blues and shuffle.
