Loleatta Holloway's self-titled 1977 LP on Salsoul -- a West German Teldec pressing -- draws on sessions split between Sigma Sound in Philadelphia and Paragon Studios in Chicago, produced by Baker-Harris-Young. "Hit And Run" became a dancefloor staple, later widely recognised for its vocal hooks. Deep disco-soul across both sides, with Holloway's voice the consistent throughline.
