London Posse were a South London crew whose mid-to-late 80s run helped establish UK hip-hop with a distinctly British voice -- ragga-inflected flows, Jamaican patois, and council estate subject matter. This 1990 Mango Street/Island 12" pairs "Live Like The Other Half Do" with a remix and dub of "Money Mad", written by Jeff Tetteh and Rodney Panton. Both tracks appeared on their debut LP Gangster Chronicle.
