Loose Ends were a London trio at the forefront of UK street soul in the mid-80s. "Golden Years" appeared on their 1985 debut album *A Little Spice* on Virgin, produced by Nick Martinelli, whose Philadelphia background shaped the record's polished funk sound. This original UK 12" single features the extended remix on the A-side, backed with "Let's Rock."
