Lowell Fulson's Trying To Find My Baby smooth West Coast blues from a hugely influential songwriter.
Lowell Fulson was a Texas-born blues guitarist whose early 1950s recordings for Swing Time Records placed him among the key West Coast blues figures of the era. This 2004 UK compilation on Complete Blues draws 25 tracks from that period. "Three O'Clock Blues" was later covered by B.B. King, who took it to number one on the R&B charts in 1952.
