Lucky Thompson recorded these Paris sessions in March and April 1956 with Gérard Pochonet's orchestra, featuring pianist Martial Solal. Released on Vogue's UK imprint (LAE 12022), this is a first UK pressing, dateable by the RT purchase tax code active between October 1955 and June 1957. Highlights include "Portrait Of Django" and "Angel Eyes."
