Lucky Thompson recorded this EP in Paris in 1956 with guitarist Jean-Pierre Sasson's trio for Columbia. The UK purchase tax code dates this pressing to between October 1955 and June 1957, making it a near-contemporary UK release of the original French sessions. Three tracks across two sides: the title cut, the uptempo "Lucky Strikes", and "My Love Supreme."
