From a beautifully preserved collection. Slight age discolouration to the rear sleeve. A majority of records in this collection are in EX to NM condition. We have graded them conservatively here.

Lyle Murphy was a Los Angeles arranger and composer who applied twelve-tone technique to jazz writing. Recorded in LA in 1954 and released on Vogue Productions, this UK 7" EP features four pieces for saxophone quartet including a twelve-tone treatment of the standard "I Only Have Eyes For You" -- an unusual move for the period.
