New Jersey duo MC Sugar Ray and Stranger D released this two-tracker on their own Def City Records imprint in 1988. This is the original pressing, catalogue number MC 731, predating the 1989 remix reissue. Both sides are raw, stripped-back boom-bap -- the kind of regional indie rap that documented the scene outside the major labels. Produced by Sugar Ray, Stranger D, and Michael Canter.
