Macho were an Italian disco project led by producer Mauro Malavasi, who later formed Change. "I'm A Man" was released on EMI in 1978 as a UK 12-inch, credited to Goody Music Production. The title track is a cover of the Spencer Davis Group classic, reworked into a driving disco arrangement. Malavasi's production connects this directly to the Italo-disco sound he developed through the early 1980s.
