Madhouse was a Prince side project with saxophonist Eric Leeds, releasing two albums on Paisley Park in 1987. *8* was the first, its eight tracks numbered rather than named -- jazz-funk instrumentals built on Prince's drum machine programming and Leeds's saxophone. This is a US Specialty Records Corporation pressing, identifiable by the SRC stamp in the runouts and "EAST" embossed around the side B centre hole.
