Magic Slim -- born Morris Holt in Mississippi, 1937 -- spent decades as a fixture of the Chicago blues circuit. This 2007 Blind Pig compilation draws from his catalogue for the label, covering electric blues staples including "Mustang Sally" and "Before You Accuse Me." Fifteen tracks across 60 minutes, covering his band the Teardrops at full stretch.
