Mance Lipscomb's debut LP, recorded in Navasota, Texas in 1960 and released as the inaugural Arhoolie Records release (F1001). Lipscomb was 61 when Chris Strachwitz discovered and recorded him, capturing a deep repertoire of Texas blues, ballads, and folk songs. "Baby Please Don't Go" and "'Bout A Spoonful" are highlights. The original US first pressing on Arhoolie.
