Just Outside Of Town is the fourth studio album by Brooklyn funk outfit Mandrill, released in 1973 on Polydor. Recorded across Electric Lady Studios and The Hit Factory in New York, it features string arrangements by Carlos Wilson and Claude "Coffee" Cave. Highlights include the groove-driven "Mango Meat" and the sprawling "Africus Retrospectus." This is a US original pressing.
