Shades Of Jade is a 2005 album by bassist Marc Johnson, recorded at Avatar Studios, New York in early 2004 and released on ECM Records. Co-written and co-produced with pianist Eliane Elias, with Manfred Eicher also producing, the set pairs Johnson and Elias across ten originals. "Blue Nefertiti" references Miles Davis's "Blue in Green" and "Nefertiti" in its title.
