Marie Knight -- a gospel-rooted R&B vocalist who recorded with Sister Rosetta Tharpe in the late 1940s -- released this promo single on Musicor Records in 1965. Both sides, "A Little Too Lonely" and "You Lie So Well," sit firmly in the secular soul style she moved into through the 1960s. A US promo pressing on the New York-based Musicor imprint.
