Marva Hicks is the self-titled debut LP by New York R&B vocalist Marva Hicks, released in 1991 on Polydor. Executive-produced by Peter Van Brunt and Samuel Sapp, the album sits in the early-90s contemporary R&B mould, with Hicks -- known as a backing vocalist for Michael Jackson's Bad tour -- delivering ten original cuts including "Never Say Never" and "One Good Reason."
