The Marvelettes' "Reachin' For Something I Can't Have" was recorded in 1968 but held back for UK release until 1973, appearing on Tamla Motown TMG 860. Both sides date from the same session period, with William Weatherspoon handling arrangements. The B-side "Here I Am Baby" is a Weatherspoon co-write and was the original US A-side -- making this UK single an interesting flip of the American release.
