From the Maxi Jazz Collection. Mekon featuring Marc Almond's Please Stay -- John Gosling's dark electronic project with Marc Almond adding a post-Soft Cell vocal. Niche but effective.

John Gosling (Mekon) produced this 2000 UK 12" on Wall Of Sound, pairing Marc Almond's vocals with two contrasting remix approaches. The A-side features an early Röyksopp remix -- one of their first widely circulated productions -- running at 45rpm, while the B-side carries Bertrand Burgalat's vocal rework at 33rpm alongside original cut Silly Rabbit.
