Mike Bloomfield was a Chicago-born guitarist who rose to prominence alongside Paul Butterfield and later with the Electric Flag and Al Kooper. This Takoma compilation draws from his later solo acoustic work, including blues standards like "See That My Grave Is Kept Clean" and originals produced by Denny Bruce. Takoma was John Fahey's label, known for American primitive and blues recordings.
