Walkin' collects two 1954 Prestige sessions featuring Miles Davis alongside J.J. Johnson, Lucky Thompson, and Horace Silver. The April sessions capture hard bop at an early, direct point -- "Walkin'" and "Blue 'N' Boogie" from one date, "Solar" and two standards from another. This is a 1987 UK-manufactured CD pressing on Prestige, issued via their London office and marked not for sale in the USA or Canada.
