Collectors Items compiles four Miles Davis Prestige sessions recorded between 1951 and 1956, drawing on dates with Sonny Rollins, Charlie Parker, and a 1956 sextet. Highlights include two takes of The Serpent's Tooth and the 1956 recording of Dave Brubeck's In Your Own Sweet Way. This 1973 UK Prestige double LP pressing on mono wax collects material previously unavailable on a single release.
