Recorded live at the Blackhawk, San Francisco on 21 April 1961, this 2003 Legacy/Columbia remaster expands the original single LP into a complete 2CD set. The quintet -- Hank Mobley, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, Jimmy Cobb -- stretch out across post-bop and modal standards including "Bye Bye Blackbird" and "Walkin'", with four previously unissued tracks restored.
