Miles In The Sky was recorded in January and May 1968 and released on Columbia, capturing Davis's rhythm section -- Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, and Tony Williams -- alongside Wayne Shorter, with electric instruments beginning to replace acoustic for the first time. This 2019 Music On Vinyl reissue (MOVLP2385) is pressed in the EU and produced by Teo Macero. Hancock's "Paraphernalia" is a highlight.
