Milestones was recorded in February and March 1958 at Columbia's 30th Street Studio, New York, and features the classic sextet with John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Red Garland, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones. This is a Columbia Jazz Masterpieces reissue (cat# CJ 40837), remastered directly from the original analog tapes by Teo Macero, previously issued as CL 1193 and CS 9428.
