Miles Smiles is a 1967 studio album by the Miles Davis Quintet, recorded at Columbia 30th Street Studio, New York in October 1966. This 1998 Legacy/Columbia reissue was remixed from the original 4-track tapes and remastered in 20-bit at Sony Music Studios. The quintet -- Davis, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, and Tony Williams -- perform six originals including Shorter's "Footprints" and Eddie Harris's "Freedom Jazz Dance."
