Sketches Of Spain is Miles Davis's 1960 orchestral collaboration with arranger Gil Evans, recorded November 1959 and March 1960 in New York and released on Columbia. Built around Rodrigo's Concerto de Aranjuez, the album draws on Spanish folk forms across five extended pieces. This is a US reissue on red Columbia labels, catalogue number PC 8271, likely pressed in the 1980s or early 90s.
