Product Review:
ECM Records CD. Rare and deeply atmospheric meeting of Norwegian pianist Mikhail Alperin and British saxophonist John Surman. Very few copies circulate.

First Impression is a 1999 ECM album by Russian-Norwegian pianist Mikhail Alperin and British saxophonist/bass clarinetist John Surman, recorded at Rainbow Studio, Oslo, and produced by Manfred Eicher. A duo session, it moves between Alperin's folk-rooted piano writing and Surman's characteristically warm reed tones across a sequence of impressionistic pieces and short interludes.

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
