Heavy Vibes is a 1982 UK 12" single by Montana Sextet on Virgin Records, licensed from Philly Sound Works. Produced and arranged by Vincent Montana Jr., the Philadelphia session veteran behind the Salsoul Orchestra, it delivers jazz-funk disco across three versions including a Paul Simpson club mix on the B-side. Simpson went on to produce club records for Bluebird and Ten.
