Mos Def's debut single on Rawkus, released 1997. "The Universal Magnetic" introduced him to the NYC underground scene, while "If You Can Huh You Can Hear" samples Herbie Hancock's "Maiden Voyage" as performed by Brian Auger's Oblivion Express. This expanded pressing adds instrumentals of both tracks. Catalogue number RWK 138-1.
