Product Review:
Opened but unplayed.

The Blues And The Abstract Truth is a 1961 studio album by Oliver Nelson, recorded for Impulse! with a lineup including Eric Dolphy, Freddie Hubbard, and Bill Evans. Produced by Creed Taylor, it blends hard bop and modal jazz across six Nelson originals. Stolen Moments became one of the most covered jazz compositions of the era. This is a US Impulse! reissue on the classic AS-5 catalogue number.

  • Your tunes

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
