From a beautifully preserved collection. Slight age discolouration to the rear sleeve. A majority of records in this collection are in EX to NM condition. We have graded them conservatively here.

Omer Simeon was a New Orleans-born clarinettist who recorded extensively with Jelly Roll Morton and Earl Hines. This UK Tempo EP from 1957 collects four tracks cut in New York on 22 February 1945 -- their first appearance together on a single release. Highlights include Harlem Hotcha and Creole Lullaby, small-group swing in the New Orleans tradition.
