Recorded at A&R Studios, New York in April and May 1968, Love Call pairs Ornette Coleman with Don Cherry, Charlie Haden, and Billy Higgins. Originally released on Blue Note in 1968, this 1990 CD reissue -- remixed from the original 4-track analog tapes -- adds three bonus tracks including alternate takes of Check Out Time and the title track.
