Osibisa were a London-based Afro-rock group formed in 1969 by Ghanaian and Caribbean musicians. "Sunshine Day" was released as a single on Bronze in 1975, produced by Gerry Bron. The track later became widely recognised through its use in UK TV advertising. The B-side "Bum to Bum" runs over five minutes, making it the deeper cut on this original UK pressing.
