Otis Clay's debut single on Chicago's One-derful Records, released in 1967. Clay had moved from gospel to soul shortly before, and this 45 shows that transition fully formed -- raw Southern soul voice over tight Chicago production from Eddie Silvers. The A-side "That's How It Is (When You're In Love)" is the standout. An original pressing on One-derful 4848.
