Funkentelechy Vs. The Placebo Syndrome is Parliament's sixth studio album, released in 1977 on Casablanca Records. Recorded at United Sound Studios, Detroit and Hollywood Sound Recorders, this 2025 BGP reissue brings it back to print. Flash Light -- a US number one R&B single -- and Bop Gun are the standouts. Bernie Worrell and Fred Wesley arranged the horns throughout.
