Product Review:
US 1st Press in EX cndition. Testify 4.04

Up For The Down Stroke is Parliament's debut album on Casablanca Records, released in 1974 and produced by George Clinton with arrangements from Bernie Worrell and Eddie Hazel. This original US pressing carries the early Warner Bros.-distributed Casablanca label. It includes the longer 4:04 mix of "Testify", replaced on later pressings. "The Goose" runs nine minutes and anchors the P.Funk sound Clinton would build on throughout the decade.

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
