From The Hot Afternoon is a 1969 recording by alto saxophonist Paul Desmond, released on A&M Records in 1970. Produced by Creed Taylor and arranged by Don Sebesky at Van Gelder Studios, it moves Desmond into bossa nova and Latin jazz territory. This is a UK first pressing (AMLS 968) with etched runouts on both sides.
