"Rain Forest" was Paul Hardcastle's debut single, released in 1984 on Bluebird Records ahead of his major-label breakthrough. The track blends electro and jazz-funk, built around synthesisers and drum machines. B-side "Sound Chaser" extends the electronic funk approach. This original UK pressing was plated at Musitech and produced by Hardcastle for his own P.H. Productions imprint.
