Paul Laurence was a New York R&B producer and vocalist who worked closely with Freddie Jackson in the mid-1980s. "Strung Out" was released in 1985 on Capitol Records, lifted from his debut album *Haven't You Heard?*. This is a UK-manufactured 12" pressing featuring the Extended Dance Mix on the A-side alongside "I'm Sensitive" on the flip.
