Underexposed is the second solo album by Paul Laurence, released on Capitol Records in 1989. Produced by Laurence for StoneJones Productions and recorded across Electric Lady and The Hit Factory in New York, it sits firmly in the New Jack Swing era, blending funk and soul with the tight, programmed rhythms of the late-80s R&B sound. Laurence was a key figure behind Howard Hewett and Freddie Jackson's hits before this release.
