Tradewinds is the debut album by Philadelphia R&B singer Perri, released in 1990 on MCA Records. Produced by Jon Baker and Perri, with Louil Silas Jr. as executive producer, the record blends new jack swing with downtempo soul across ten tracks. Silas was a key figure at MCA during this period, also working with Stephanie Mills. The title track and "Someone Like You" are standout cuts.
