Legalize It is Peter Tosh's debut solo album, originally released in 1976 on Virgin following his departure from the Wailers. This 1999 Virgin CD reissue restores the full nine-track set, co-produced by Tosh with associate producer Lee Jaffe. Bob Marley and Neville Livingston share writing credits on select tracks. The title track became a defining roots reggae anthem for cannabis legalisation.
