Controversy is Prince's fifth studio album, released October 1981 on Warner Bros. This 1999 UK/Europe CD reissue, manufactured in Germany by Record Service GmbH, carries the original 1981 copyright. The album blends funk, synth-pop, and new wave across eight tracks, including the title cut, "Do Me, Baby", and "Sexuality" -- all self-produced and arranged by Prince.
