Psalms For I is a roots reggae album by Prince Far I, recorded in the mid-1970s and built around his deep, commanding toasting style over biblical scripture. This 2002 Pressure Sounds reissue (PSCD35) draws on rhythms produced by Lee Perry and Alton Ellis. Far I's raw, authoritative delivery across tracks like Psalm 23 and Psalm 2 made this one of the defining vocal performances of the roots era.
